All the stars are aligning. To me this is the perfect opportunity. Everything points towards increased ounces galore. The tests overlayed on top of the Friday drill findings appears to have become a "treasure map." The placer mining ounces taken (whether 4m or 8m ounces) speaks to so much more yet untouched. I have raised my own personal minable ounce expectations in recent days. I'm interested in reading primed24's and other geologist's calculations of "reasonable possibilities in ounces" and economic minability. I wonder what Mike O's, and also other mining company official's, best guesses are for the potential ounces and for the purposes of planning an eventual possible share value estimate a year or two from now. What range would they guess, based on all their experience, the tests, the results thus far, the historic data, etc. Knowing that drilling will be the proof, what would they guess just for in house purposes, as reasonable possibilities. They must be continuously updating their in house estimates of possibilities for their bosses. And the juniors and majors? I don't think they are ignoring calculating a range of possibilities either. Buyout offers are always possible and can happen in 2011 or 2012. Hopefully, we will have drilled enough by then to be able to credably argue what the land package (or a portion of it) is worth to share holders. The longer we can go and the more we can quickly drill successfully, the better. The race is on. We are entering a critical point of time. 15m ounces? 25m ounces? 35m ounces? More? Less? A new mining district? Multiple mines? Best guesses? We will know a whole lot more in a few months. Meanwhile, it is tantelizing to think of the eventual possibilities. One thing I am positive about is that this is just the begining and it is only going to get better. The ounces found will not go away. Indeed the number will increase significantly. I stake my reputation on it.
