They basically have 3 seasons they can work onsite...without an all weather road.

Peregrine Diamonds is on site right now. Have been since January.

Much easier to haul in heavy equipment and drills and oils and supplies via the trails that go over some small lakes.

Doing some drilling starting in early March. Huge bulk sample of 1,000 tonnes and again, they want to do it now, so they can haul that material away before the winter/spring ends.

Then next season is in April/May where they get sunshine, etc. and it is a bit nicer to work onsite. They can do core drilling, rc drilling, geophysics, etc.

June can be a bit slushy with the snow melt and has a period where it doesn't make sense to work.

Come July/August/part of September. They do drilling, geophysics and also a significant time to do prospecting and surface sampling on the property.

Then it closes shop in mid September and they send samples away for caustic fusion.

Then they have a few months to interpret everything before starting the cycle over again.

Three seasons plus a break for homework.

You are not going to find a huge diamond district off the coast of Hawaii.

South Baffin Island is the place to be.

LONG...PGD
