I have held this stock a long time and it has rewarded me well. The Ghana property and its true value is yet to be fully understood.

I find it hard to believe that a major has not shown a lot of interest in acquiring 100% of detour gold, but they would have to go through PLG and I'm quite certain they will not be dictated to on terms etc.

Meanwhile they will not recognize any value for Ghana ... they want real ounces not possible ounces.

What to do when a major comes knocking and your trading at a discount to the market value of what you are holding.

1) split the company into two segments ... DGC holding company and Ghana exploration with sufficient working capital (say 1,000,000 shares of DGC) to drill drill drill Ghana ... (if of course your early studies say you have another near Obuasi etc).

2) after the split ... perform a shareholder maximization review on Newco who holds 19,000,000 shares of a solid company that may be desirable to a major or two. Friendly takeover, hostile takeover ... who cares. A bidding war suits us just fine since our Ghana assets can now be exploited through PBX using the proceeds form the 1,000,000 shares tender to whoever is taking this over.

3) drill drill dril ghana and find undercapitalized juniors who are undervalued and make even more money.

Personally, I think the writing is on the wall and the structure of the break-up of PLG speaks volumes ... you just don't give away Ghana, but you have to turn you assets into something liquid so that you can be an junior explorer and repeat your effort that has positioned us so well.

KUDOS to the management and leadership of PLG!!!!
