POET needs to secure a partnership with the likes of AMD as soon as it possibly can. The system being described in the AMD patent is very much what the OI is touted to do. POET can shorten AMD's development time and gain mroe industry stature.

The lack of any official T1 partnership/commercial venture is hurting the company's value. Entering prod by the end of this Q will give these T1s confidence to sample POET's products and move on to meaningful partnerships.
