Some people did not realize that the 'Freedom Convoy' was not a part of those blockading the bridge. They were separate, and police finally cleared them.  It does make me shake my head when people get so upset about truckers hurting the supply chain when governments seem to have been one of the biggest destroyers of same for the last two years.  

The Freedom convoy were asked to stop honking...they did.  They were asked to keep lanes open for movement of cars/police/ambulances...they did.  A court was involved in some of the negotiations.  They were asked to just leave by T. and the cops,- but that is what they wouldn't do, so the one illegal thing was they remained parked where they weren't supposed to - a level of infraction for which you get a parking ticket.  No one was actually blocked from moving through that city, - lanes were left open by the truckers and never blocked except by counterprotestors or police, but there they were having dance parties, chatting, feeding the homeless, clearing the streets and sidewalks of snow, and being an inspiration for the world in resisting the mandates and lockdowns that have done little to stop the big C, then medium C, and now finally the tiniest C of all which is no worse than a bad cold.

These last couple of years, we watched city buildings and businesses burn, cops killed and injured, and people murdered and terrorized all in the name of - well, things that the far left like, so it was all ok.  You know what the biggest crime was that the Freedom Convoy committed?   IMO - remaining peaceful, and this after T. called them nazis and confederates, and racists and terrorists and so on, and there they sat, determined but peaceful, giving total lie to his words, and the legacy media couldn't stop their messages and manners getting about because everyone has an iphone now and can stream it all.  

The government that seizes raw dictatorial power in order to clamp down on your neighbor in ways you approve will soon find a reason to come after you.  I thought there was a charter of rights and personal freedom?  One pandemic and you will just give all that away?

I wish my country was in better shape, but its not, and I dread its future, but I know that my Redeemer lives, so I look forward to mine.
