IMO, partly due to the massive difference between the leaders of the companies.

As a seasoned veteran of the semi industry, SV knows exactly how the industry works, what it needs, and just as the industry does, likes to play things close to his chest.

As a scientist turned business consultant / marketing salesman, Lebby can definitely talk the talk, and has certainly used that to his company's advantage.  You can argue success with his approach, as he certainly has raised the company's profile both in the market and on social media, but as we see in that brutal SeekingAlpha article, its going to take much more than talk to make LWLG a successful company in the long run.

Right now, my money's on POET taking the upper hand through year end and into 2022, they're just too far ahead where it matters.  Perhaps we revisit this time next year and see how things stand.

In the meantime, I see an opportunity for LWLG to become the next darling meme stock, with Reddit and RobinHood retail investors fighting back the the shorts with a big squeeze.  Hours of entertainment for the whole family :)
