"Chipmakers can import machinery and raw materials tax-free through 2030, the Finance Ministry and other agencies announced. They did not say how large a subsidy to manufacturers that might represent."

I am curious if Poet's new joint venture Super Photonics SPX, will be able to take advantage of this program.

The new manufacturing facility will be"... 15,000 square feet facility in high-tech industrial park outside of Xiamen by the end of the year..."

I was looking at possible loacations and the Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Xiamen Torch HIDZ) might be it.
