(23:34) Vivek: So George, just so you know… As a technology partner of this customer, they see partnering with us as their differentiation. They don’t want their customers to know who their partner is, although you know (laughs) it’s not kept a secret with the technology we are providing. But they want to safeguard that differentiation and that’s the reason.
(24:01) George: So does that get… but from an internal point-of-view, from a third-party… because Suresh, you said something interesting before: we believe. And, you know, small-cap CEOs have to say that at the end of the day, right? Because if they don’t believe it, they shouldn’t be CEO. But, at the same time, the market almost demands, or gets much more comfortable with third-party validation, so I again—I know we can’t talk about who it is—internally, what kind of third-party validation does this… how does it make you feel that this kind of third-party validation wanted to partner with POET on this?
(20:42) Vivek: (pause) So, um, George are you saying… I’m not sure I completely understood your question. Third-party validation of our solution?
(24:51) George: Just the fact they want to work with you, right, to enter the arti… (artificial Intelligence market)… how does it make you feel internally? I wish we could share it, because you can’t share the name but, internally, has this put a big smile on everyone’s faces, to say ok, we’ve really, we’ve got a big company here that wants to… ?
(25:08) Vivek: I can tell you artificial intelligence today is one of the most exciting things happening, whether it’s in healthcare, whether it’s in data communications, whether it’s in autonomous driving. Everything artificial intelligence is a huge, huge approach that is penetrating everything we are doing today. For us, and especially I can say from my personal experience, being in optical for the last thirty years, optical is a quote-unquote a geeks industry. Ok? So to get out of that and be in such an exciting, next generation… I can tell my children—teenagers—that yay, you know I’m working on something that’s going into artificial intelligence. All that is really, really exciting.
