Yes, Shash, I've been saying that the empire is downhill ever since the Clinton impeachment. Too much greed, and too much disparity in wealth and education. And way too much partisanship.  

Having said that, this "spike down" caused by the Trump administration is a "buying opp" for the US. We're not as bad as our current valuatom. We will rebound and eventually begin to drop, but to revisit our current level will take a few decades.
