The grandkids of Jesse Marcel, the guy tasked with investigating the Roswell crash of 1947 have come forward with his journals and say that he always said that the materials found were definitely not of human manufacture and that he was told to create the crashed weather balloon cover-up story.

The interesting part of the story as far as Poet is concerned is his mention of fiber optics.

"Marcel described the pieces uncovered at the wreckage to his grandchildren as being light, but strong.

Some were beams etched with 'alien writing' , according to Marcel, and the debris appeared to be metal and plastic pieces, along with miles of fiber optics.

'He said there were glass fibers and fiber optics that may have been from the computers on the ship,' John said."
