Nice find Wake.

I like that Bill Gartner says "we have a chicken and egg problem with transition technology such as 400g When do the price points make sense ? Price points make sense when volume is achieved. "

The host then says " with leading edge technology we get carried away with the latest and greatest but it has to be CHEAP enough for everybody to buy in volume.

POET is stating it can bring down the prices of these transceivers with their optical interposer technology.

Does it work YES

Can you supply at volume YES.

Do they have purchase orders YES (European optical company)

Bill Gartner also stated as you mentioned 400g will start at FR4/DR4.
This is where POET is with their customers.

The Company reported that the 100/200G CWDM4 Optical Engine, the 400G LightBar™, 400G FR4 Receiver, and the 400G FR4/DR Optical Engines all remain on schedule.

I am still in the camp that we are working with CISCO/Acacia. Light bars +Flip chips

good luck everyone
