The article, parsed from an article in the Wall Street Journal is full of conundrums, which is a good way of quickly summarizing this so-called trade war.

Is the USA cutting off its' nose to spite its' face, or is it really protecting the American consumers or entrepreneurs?

Were the Chinese smart enough to develop their own routers, for example, or did they have to reverse engineer it and then add a few additional bits to actually make them better? Does it matter since it's still IP theft?

These are difficult questions to answer, but the US voters have told Trump what they want done and he is now doing it, for better or worse.

Only time will tell, but my personal feeling is that Huawei has risen to prominence on the backs of some American knowhow, and developed it gracefully....their cell phones are testiment of that.

But theft is theft, no matter what is done with the stolen property.
