I see your point Junkers but I suppose we will never know for sure. It is strange that Chris would even mention her instead of talking about the real puppet master. PC was pulling everyone’s strings including Chris's (and Mazan’s) but I do think that Peter’s strings were being pulled and he did not know any better. Peter loved to talk. He always said he knew nothing about the technology but got very excited listening to Geoff Taylor and Lee Shepherd. I believe he was convinced that the tech would work right out of the gate and I think he received a lot of attention from a lot of people as companies indulged him and wanted to know more. And why not? It is an extremely unique technology that big companies would die for and I think given the right conditions (India) they will finish it.

If you read what Wake just posted it has a very eerie ring to it. As the story goes POET was connected to Anadigics through Win to develop the VCSEL. And now we find that Win is connected to Apple. There had to be something to the Tony Blevins thing and we were hearing about regular visits at UCONN from Apple engineers to investigate the technology and I bet Geoff Taylor would do a great job presenting it. But POET had difficulties which were not limited to just technical issues. They got the rug pulled out from under them. That is all water under the bridge now but Chris Chu certainly played a role. Bottom line is it did not go anywhere because of the problems they were having.

So the real question for me would be. Why is Chris even on POET Facebook? And if he really wants to speak up he can provide some insight into someone meaningful like PC instead of talking about Eileen.
