Message: SOITEC : not sure at all, but

Andech, thanks for raising the question about SOITEC beeing a competitor for the indian bid! I checked a bit for connections between POET and Soitec and then I found something interesting in POET's Annual Information Form for 2014: https://www.google.co.il/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjg-OfDqeXVAhXJNhoKHadDAQkQFgg9MAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.poet-technologies.com%2Fdocs%2Faif%2FPOET-AIF2014-4Aug15.pdf&usg=AFQjCNEsm9jWoGipr7sJwOTKMdlkibzKBw :

Ajit Manocha: "Executive Co-Chairman of the Company since November 2014; Executive Director of the Company from July to November 2014; Chief Executive Officer of GlobalFoundries from June 2011 to January 2014; from March 2009 to May 2011, he served on the boards of Maskless Lithography, SVTC Technologies and Signet Solar and was advisor to Philips Lumileds, ASE, SOITEC and ATIC."

Maybe in this bid Manocha is a very interesting link between POET and SOITEC - specially if they are not really competitors!
