About 8 years ago I was heavily invested in Au and Ag and made a pile, and then proceeded to lose a pile because I didn't think governments had the nerve to print money for a decade...and I was wrong.

Nevertheless, I always believe it is a good idea to have some insurance in your safe at home (not in the bank...NEVER in the bank) and there is no better insurance than Au and Ag, IMO.
