Gooch, I just made my reservations, flying into SJ at about 4:30 on the 11th and out about 3:30 on the 12th. Figured with the meeting at 9, it should easily be over by 10:30 which should afford plenty of time to get together with anyone willing for a lunch and/or discussion.

I'm staying at the Fairmont, also quite close, as Marriott was unavailable.

I believe Mazan4 is coming, too.

We'll come up with a good spot for dinner on Thursday; I heard the food at the Fairmont is real good, although the hotel itself is not all that much to write home about. What the heck, one night, in and out, all should be fine, if we get the right vibes before, during and after the meeting.
