Regarless of the lack of fanfare, from the news release on August 1 of their expanding relationship with POET I remain excited about the future Luxshare relationship with POET.  We are now 1.5 months in since that announcement, and further have the Mitsubishi Electric collaboration  to be happy about as well, along with efforts geographically going into Singapore.

"Luxshare Tech and POET agreed to produce additional types of optical transceiver modules following the successful completion of the testing of 800G 2xFR4 OSFP modules using POET’s receive optical engines. These modules showed exceptional performance, which prompted Luxshare Tech and POET to adopt a broader range of POET’s optical engines into the Luxshare offerings."

Sentence one says the agreement follows the successfull completion of testing of the 800G 2xFR4 OSFP modules, and sentence two confirms with the past tense verb "showed" that testing has already taken place and the resulting performance triggered the relationship expansion.

"Selected POET optical engines will be integrated into existing Luxshare Tech products that are already on the market. Along with the 800G 2xFR4 OSFP module, Luxshare Tech is developing a series of DSP-based and linear pluggable optics products for 400G and 800G speeds using POET's optical engines. These multiple projects will generate complete solutions that include transmit and receiver engines that are built on the POET Optical Interposer™ platform technology."

Integration of POET technology into existing products also suggests potential near-term revenues over-and-above the agreement that was in place prior to the announcement.  It will be interesting to see precisely what the adoption of POET into existing products means, and I will be happy when further details are provided.

I keep going back and reviewing the news release, and I seem to keep accumulating shares, now increased to 30 percent more than what I owned at the start of the last runup.
