Mitsubishi Electric has its own advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities which are located primarily in Japan and are known for producing high-quality semiconductor components, including optical devices like Electro-absorption Modulator integrated Lasers (EMLs) that they will use with POET.

Mitsubishi has the capability to produce semiconductor components, including their 400G EMLs at scale. Their advanced manufacturing facilities in Japan are equipped to handle large-scale production.
