B&C Assuming a minimum cluster size of 16 multiplied by 4 OEs per node = 64 OEs. This is the Starlight Quad. The Starlight Octal doubles the OEs to 128.
This post is to fix an error.
The first sentence should be accurate for all generations of Starlights. The last sentence is incorrect. It is 64 OEs per node regardless of whether the lane counts are 4, 8, 16 or 32.
The Starlight Octal doubles the number of lanes and not the number of OEs. Creating 800G bandwidth by "stiching" two 400G OEs together to create an 800G OE doubles, if not more, the price tag.
