The more I think about it...
They closed Allentown to consolidate operations in Singapore where Dr. Mo is, and close to Silterra, their Malaysian wafer fab. I think a facility in Malaysia, just over the bridge from Singapore is what will be announced.
This does a few things. Removes the China anxiety. Presents POET as a going concern, with a facility that can be visited and evaluated. It's so much easier to charge the going rate, minus enought to be the best deal, if you bring a robust, full service manufacturing setup to the table. POET has enough partners now to be a player that can make it themselves, or enter partnerships on favorable terms, once this +1 facility is realized.
I am thinking ahead but ready to bet on this.
