A solid alternative to Nvidia is AMD which is in second place to Nvidia for GPUs.

Current data transfer between GPUs: Nvidia uses its NVlink. AMD uses its Infinity Fabric. 

Celestial AI is working with Samsung to design light-enabled memory drives for AI applications. ç Zacks Report November 28th, 2023:

Both AMD and Samsung are investors in CAI.  

The main partnerships for utilizing CAI’s tech should be AMD and Samsung (HBM) versus NVDA and SK Hynix (HBM).
