Name the last time a company received 25 times their valuation on a buyout? Not arguing either way, but the company is vulnerable to a low take out, these institutional buys make it easier actually, secure their support, get the insiders, announce an offer and then gobble up more shares, before you know it, it's happened. The company brass and we the retail investor are not "in this together", that's clearly been shown over and over and over. We are a barnacle on a whale, hoping they take us where we desire. Suresh and Mika aren't young men either. Then factor in how often the small fish doesn't get devoured? 5 billion takeout, with all due respect, is pure fantasy, I've seen many that offer a 35 percent premium on the closing price, which would be a tragedy here, for us.
I love what we're seeing of late, some big things are clearly afoot. That said, I don't for one second believe this management will act in my best interest as a long suffering shareholder, they will do what's right for them, period, no question. As stated earlier, they will make out like bandits with any deal, including possibly future employment should they wish. I just want to see the price keep rising, I'll take a small profit at this point with a buyout. I dream, like everyone else, but after all these years, I'll take whatever I can to save my investment, the setbacks are real, we are vulnerable and we will never see a massive buyout , here, at this point. That's my two cents.
