POET is in from all of my readings.
I like to think of it this way.
Lazovsky saw what POET was doing and realized it could help with a lucrative solution to the memory wall and integrate the fabric that would be used for compute in the next few years. So he left to start CAI.
He's not going to promote other companies and he is not going to speak about all the parts he is using. Why would he? The idea is to get a lead, be the standard, and build on that. Let the competition find their own parts, do the testing, and get left in the dust, or let them serve a different part of the market.
He won't be saying, "We use POET OIs and light bars and whatever else they do. It saves us a ton of time and money. You should, too!"
