I thought why would Suresh make a bold statement like this? Can he back it up?
I think this time the experts are not the end customers like Meta Arista Microsoft etc, but in this case all the companies like the module makers and engineers banging their heads against the wall to stretch their platforms to 1.6t like Eoptolink and Innolight while Poet has shown a clear roadmap to 3.2t already with their 200g per lane demonstrations, don't take my word for it, read the blog and see the OFC videos then compare with Suresh's statements in his April 10 presentation.
