In early slides, they show the 800G market at over $3 billion in 2025. Yet, in a later slide, they show a forecasted revenue for POET of $10-$20 million in 1 to 2 years.
Why would they put those two pieces of information in the same presentation? They are saying "There is a huge growth market....that we will not service yet." That is ludicrous. POET claims to be a technology leader. Whose products are customers going to be using that result in a $3Billion market? If it is not POET's in 2025, why does POET expect the customers to switch to POET down the road?
Basically, they told everyone to wait for 2 to 3 years before they need to invest. I am not being negative. I am still overly invested in this company, but this presentation was a disaster in my mind.
