There aren't many institutions that would be investing in an index that is made up of pre-revenue companies that make up the majority of the TSX Venture in any case. Also the main TSX has it's own indices which have completely different inclusion criteria than the TSXV composite index.

Non-event really other than another embarrassment for Poet management.
