Beat the incumbents at 100G, then 400G, then 800G and then be the first and best going forward from there. At some point, the more expensive and inferior solutions will be supplanted by the cost-effective solution that also offers a path all the way to 3.2Terabytes. 

Predicting the uptake of a new product is where POET's management and possibly their customers have not been accurate enough for the investment community, thus the current punishing share drop in price. 

The cool thing about being better, is it will win out. When? Not soon enough for me but I'll hold.
