First off, Dylan is a semiconductor guy and not an optics guy and I do not believe he fundamentally understands what it is that we do - despite my many attempts to discuss this with him.  He is prejudiced and does not have an attention span that is conducive to learning.  He covers Silicon Photonics but more at a system level - not at the manufacturing or definitely the assembly level.  
He tends to be dismissive in his ignorance - and I can honestly say that he has not taken the time to either understand or appreciate what we do.
