Consider the position

I think the point to all of this is that when this company in 2021 was trading in the $10 range that is when money for small cap pre-revenue companies apparently dried up. To gain access to very significant money then would have (apparently) resulted in the same sort of thing happening. So waiting for legacy products (proving platform value) and orders plus the advanced 800G and 1.6T engines in a pluggable form factor would have seemed a viable approach? I think it was a dilemma for them. So I believe the thinking at that time was getting money now would certainly crater the stock. If we wait until orders come in then maybe the value would be recognized by the market or other avenues may arise from within the industry. So in effect they were delaying in hopes that conditions would improve.
Consider this. All their options are now underwater. All of them. People who understand what this technology is and how it can change industry know that the company is worth much much more. Industry...customers are counting on POET to deliver. All the advantages that this platform provides are there and more.
There are other options for funding that have been alluded to and I think we have speculated what those options are. Let's get the financing behind us and focus on the future.
