I've been a bit down the past 24 hours or so.
I've lost money in my POET investment. A lot. Over $650,000. And I'm not rich, so it hurts.
But I didn't buy on margin - and I feel for you, Royalton, and everyone else who has had margin calls. I still own the stock. I'm not holding a Pom Pom, and I'm not trying to cheer everyone up. A 40% drop is significant. But my position is the same as it was 6 months ago. I own shares in an early stage company with technology that addresses a market need, patents, industry relationships, and recognition. I own the stock for the potential of it's long term value, and I accept the significant risk related to the investment.
I agree that management needs to communicate better. Or, just communicate. But I still own shares. And I believe all the margin calls contributed to the drop. So I bought more.
I read all your comments. The frustration is justified. I'm just saying - I'm still in the game.
