I believe that POET is not explicitly mentioned much because, even though they may be important in the grand scheme of advanced chips, they are but a small part of the retail product. I suggest that we expecting more than what has been, and is currently, the importance of POET. It would be great to see publicity, POET being mentioned more prominently, and of course, revenues. But the reality is that as time has been going by, there are some companies that are doing nearly the same as POET. From my experience commodities aren't newsworthy unless there becomes a shortage.
