I read an article in Light Technologies Today (March 2023) in which Jean-Christophe Eloy offered insights on the photonics market.  Jean-Christophe is an expert in the industry.  He is the President and CEO of The Yole Group Development division.  Company description from The Yole Group website:

Yole Group provides market research, technology and strategy analysis, reverse engineering and costing, and photonics module performance evaluation, focused on the semiconductor industry and related fields.

I reached out to Jean-Christophe via LinkedIn and asked if he is familiar with POET Technologies.  He replied, stating that "POET is well known by me and Yole siPHo analysts", and he agreed to meet with me.  I'm interested in understanding how various experts in the industry view POET and the market for POET technology.

Many of you in this group have experience in this field and a technical understanding of photonics that far exceed my experience, so it would be helpful to me (and to this group, likely) if you will please let me know what YOU would ask if you had a conversation with an industry expert.  What technical and business interests/concerns would you like to validate with a third party who has experience in the industry and who knows POET well?

I intend to continue doing market research and validation, so these questions will be valuable to me in this pursuit.
