As a rule of thumb, I would say that if it is anything optical, photonical, electronical on semiconductor – preferably in combination – then the optical interposer is an option. Whether it will actually be used in a particular development, for a particular type of hardware, we don’t know.

In any case, the range of applications for the optical interposer platform is so wide that it will inevitably be deployed in a large number of cases.
