I think a name change should have happened already. Afterall, Planar Opto-Electronic Technology Technologies is rather confused and was based on the GaAs chip. But POET are much more then just AI don't you think?

That said, perhaps now is not the time to be doing it, maybe that ship has sailed entirely.
