Poet's interposer, I believe, does what Dr. Taylor thought his GaAs solution would eventually do. The difference is that Poet's interposer can do that NOW and it is compatible with current silicon-photonics platforms and forms a new basis for many new solutions not invented yet. No 4th pin issue; therefore, no incompatibilty.

TODAY, Poet's interposer is an elegant silicon-photonics solution that will become a disruptive solution to how current silicon-based customers integrate silicon-photonics into their market vertical solutions.
