Message: Customer or collaborator

Of course I may be all wet over this, but to me a customer would be someone or a company that is purchasing a manufactured/created item or object or widget. A collaborator to me could be a company that is working side by side with another firm to design/create/manufacture any of these items or widgets. In any case, does POET own, rent or lease any manufacturing facilities of their own?  Are they using another manufacturer to provide their widgets to the undisclosed companies that are supposedly testing their product? I am sorry, but this has gone on so long that I really am a wee bit confused. And I do support the idea that they are viewed as "small potatoes" at this point, and continue to get bypassed by any significant investor/supporter except....wait for it..... us. POET may be staffed with some wonky nerds that are onto the next big thing, but the near total lack of publicity about their product in a meaningful way to the investor world and the public at large is totally baffling, but painfully obvious. I too am in my mid 70's and have been in excavating/site work for decades. I look at this like the guy down the street with a new chainsaw in his hands cutting down his first tree. The wind blowing, the lean of the tree, the great size of the tree, his excited approach to his expectations.... I watch to see if he will land the tree on his house, or onto his car, or whatever. My hope is that he is successful and learns from his experience, and remains successful since I may want to collaborate with him.
