To me it really seems like the world is upside down. Listen to these accomplishments.
I had a draft of a post that I was working on. Here it is.
The game plan has always been to prove that the capabilities being introduced by the optical interposer platform are in fact providing the three requirements that Raju is speaking of. In order to have low cost you must have wafer scale assembly. In order to have reduced power to the lowest possible value you must have excellent electrical and photonic efficiency. And that means advanced electrical connectivity utilizing TSV's for the lowest impedance possible unlocking the RF capabilities of the optical interposer platform and allowing for high efficiency DSP' s leading to the removal of the DSP. The optical side is very efficient and they are expanding that efficiency in all the moves they make.
Love the insights and where these guys are heading...And as I listen to Suresh talk about no one matching the POET platform you have to know that he had to see for himself what everyone had to offer.
