I listened to the Jayshree talk, specifically keen on the elimination of the DSP to allow for CPO in a pluggable form factor. Certainly seems like Arista is committing to this solution as the path forward as she references it as "Direct Drive" multiple times in the talk. Now if you reference Poets recent Synopsys presentation on slide 9 the term "Direct Drive" is used along with very comparable power performance metrics. 

Now if you layer on Theresa nomination to the BoD, it's certainly evident both companies paths are aligned. 

Now you layer on the performance of the company in the public domain which totally condraticts this potential connection. 

Which is it???
