Yes, I looked at that but believe it is just a raised face that coincidently, seemingly, aligns with the circuit board underneath? But clearly there are raised painted sections within POET's logo so it could be nothing...

The coalescing of light is interesting, I looked at the O band light bar release again and it seems it's a laser source, not a receiver, which is what I assume stitched meant by coalescing light...
