I personally lean more towards the power of the words rather than the number of messages conveyed.  All of us have babbled over the years and many times have said nothing in the process.  Did anyone translate the Chinese characters?  I did.  A message from China, in Chinese won't get me to change my mind about the direction we are headed, but it does catch my interest.
