Goosed I think you've completely missed the point of Lookingintoit's post.  I don't think he/she is suggesting a link to poet.  Merely that the paper in question outlines some key elements that are required to advance photonics and better integration etc.  All of which poet has achieved and I really enjoyed the DD.  It highlights exactly why POET is unique.
