This is just my opinion, but this will be either Xiaomi of China, or Samsung Electronics of South Korea.  Other possibilities are Huami/Amazfit, Huawei and LG Electronics.

POET believes it can develop a superior solution based on features built into its optical interposer platform that can be directly applied to spectrometers and sensors and is working to address that market.  POET has been in talks with large wearable and mobile phone manufacturers in China and Korea and has worked with a Chinese company already active in the field to design a product.

We are waiting to be updated regarding this seismic move by POET and if a capital raise will be needed specifically to break into this huge wearable technology sector.
