Why does Celestial AI need employees working in Hyderabad, India?

Hyderabad seems to be somewhat of a tech hub for the big players particularly for Amazon. It is their first owned campus outside of the US, and the largest. 

Perhaps they are just trying to tap into the local talent pool?

I would speculate they need employees in that location because it is where a lead customer is based, question is who? These jobs are not sales related either, so it's safe to assume they are not trying to drum up business in this very specific location. 

A fact we do know, Poet has an agreement to supply Celestial AI with external light sources (ELS) modules.

It may be a stretch, but could it be these external light source modules referenced in this post below? Acronym quoted in the Poet NR uses the same "ELS" and from what I can find "ELS" doesn't appear to be an industry standard for referencing external light sources.

I firmly believe there's lots of good things happening here, but performance of this company to date in the public domain is nothing short of atrocious.
