I have a rule not to rake in people on investments, because if it fails you are forever the "bad" person.  I made one exception here, my son's TFSA I made a small PTK buy for him.  Last year my better half asked if we should let some friends know about this stock, I hesitated because again I didn't want the responsibility of someone else's finances.  On the one hand, I felt bad not "sharing" this story, but was reticent because it happened to me prior, wherein someone turned me on to what amounted to a nice capital loss in the end, I wasn't impressed but bad on me for not better vetting the sales pitch.

Be wary here too, many have "spread the word" and now have multitudes on the hook, based on their advice, which invariably affect the bias here in what is argued or said.  Personal reputations are on the line. 

Let's hope it all works out, but this is tough stuff atm, an 18 month low and all the supposed progress we've made, hard swallow there.  Long and varying degrees of strong :)
