3-9 months. More like 1 to 3 of Beta operation...my lips are loosely sealed. Something we used to say in my past life when we knew that public knowledge or thought process was not accurate. And that does not mean I have insider info. It means that POET is using mature devices and the platform lends itself to efficient operation. The lasers are not maxed out because they don’t have to be.  There are some question marks but by balancing the best available devices that have the most reliable performance POET customers will be getting the advanced platform at really lower risk than what they would be confronted with in conventional silicon photonics. Reliability is of course the most important need to be addressed. If not then redundancy becomes ridiculous to achieve. Time to market is a condition of confidence in the understanding of the platform. And it can be viewed by a telescope in detail. Details that are buried in conventional silicon photonics. It is a work of art. Where have I heard that before?
