Be aware that POET is using qualified mature devices hence the hybrid integration component. Also remember “Known Good Die”. They received orders based on Alpa’s. These  are production equivalent Beta’s that are being produced in high enough numbers to prove a point. Supply and Demand dictates how quickly the orders come in.

No isolators…not required, there is no reflection back to the devices.  And then the jaws drop in disbelief... zero active alignment, not required...vertical mirrors with fabricated lens in whatever shape you need at surface again at low loss out of plane insertion....what! And the list goes on and on.
