A very good reminder. The reduction of footprint and the design flexibility that is enabled by the POET platform can not be overstated. It is at the heart of why there is a growing number of applications or should I say shiny rocks that POET is now picking up. 

It is interesting to me that POET is now participating as an observing member to the MSA. They have talked about taking another step beyond the optical engine to provide value added modules. I think this membership provides one step closer to that move.
