Message: DOJ / FBI investigation includes "Spoofing" of orders

Talk about shorts and scams, well, I tried something else this morning. When I want to buy I usually just wait until it goes low enough in price and buy with my piggy bank at the ask when I think it won't go much lower. I decided to play around a bit this morning. I put in a bid 1 penny above the 'blocking' bid, around $9.95 first. I found that even before I was ready to push the send button, the bid jumped up a penny above. I tried this a few times and at different prices during the morning and it seemed like each time I put in my password and before I pushed the send button each time someone jumped my bid by 1 cent. Coincidence, perhaps? But it was like someone knew before I pushed the send button and after I entered the password what I was going to bid and outbid me. Am I paranoid? Probably, but it sure looked suspicious? I finally bought it at the asking price when it was low with no problem. Just a thought. I guess we are just getting set up on the Nasdaq. Our turn will come.
