Great post Germiston.
I would like to add that when you hear the terms dispruption and paradigm shift, those terms are not associated with the names of companies that were already "big boys" before the disruption occurred. The disruption is when the little guy (maybe a new entrant) brings something to market that undermines the current "set succesful ways" of the "big boys."
This has happened in many industries in the last 70 or so years. The little guys are nimble and not afraid to fail and that's what enables them to take out the big boys that are too slow to change.
Yes, I would love to see a big name partner in a news release tomorrow, but what I expect to see is more little guys I have never heard of before POET tells me about them. It's just the way true disruption works. If we had household names on day one we would be looking at step change improvement. We are all here for much more than that.
Good luck,
Jque
