An observation. There are two existing configurations for CISCO's 51.2T Switch/AI ASIC provided at last weeks OIF presentation. A 3.2T ELSFP (External Laser Small Form Factor Pluggable (ELSFP) Module Project) which connects to the OE on 4 sides of the switch ASIC (square). And a 6.4T ELSFP connecting to the OE on two sides of the ASIC (rectangular).

It is worth noting that CISCO identifies this configuration as both a Switch ASIC and an AI ASIC.
